Building structure protection
We provide protection for the structure of the building (such as ceilings, walls and floors), and if the building needs to be rebuilt, the replacement compensation can be up to HK$200,000,000. This optional building protection meets the standard requirements of most mortgages and covers fixtures and fittings pre-installed by the previous property owner or developer.
Protection of installations and equipment of the previous owner or developer
This optional coverage primarily protects fixtures and fittings pre-installed by the previous property owner or developer.
Additional Protection for Third Party Liability
Regardless of which "Excellent" Home Insurance Plan you choose, by adding this optional benefit, you can increase the maximum compensation for third party liability protection to HK$15,000,000 or HK$20,000,000.
Additional coverage for rental loss (for landlords only)
If your property becomes uninhabitable due to accidental damage to your household contents and repairs are required before it can be rented out again, this optional benefit can compensate you for your rental loss up to HK$120,000.
