Can I dispose of furniture at a garbage station?
To dispose of large discarded furniture (such as dining tables, bookcases, mattresses, etc.), follow these steps:
Buy Special Labels:Each piece of large waste must be affixed with a special label from the Environmental Protection Agency. Each label costs 11 yuan and can be purchased at designated locations.
Label:Attach the label securely to the waste, ensuring it is clearly visible.
Disposal Arrangements:
Residential Area:Place labelled waste at public waste collection points.
Environmental Protection Agency garbage station:Take the waste directly to the landfill for disposal.
Other designated locations:Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Appointment collection service (optional): If you are unable to remove the waste yourself, you can contact the Environmental Protection Agency or relevant agencies to make an appointment for door-to-door collection at an additional cost.
Recycle or Donate:If your furniture is still usable, consider donating it or contacting a recycling agency.
Notice:
Ensure waste does not obstruct pathways or public spaces.
Disposal without a label may result in a fine.
